Our values define what we do. We strive to follow them throughout the process of all projects.

2. Everyone’s safety is our number one priority at all times.
3. We will be as efficient with your time as it is possible, avoiding long delays at all turns wherever possible.

At Midland Tanking we recognise that there can be no one set way in which we carry out your work. We must adapt to the needs of our clients, and this must lead our approach.

This is one of our core values along with always putting your needs ahead of our own and to be efficient with your time. This effects how we work in every way, starting with our initial contact.

With that as one of our core values, we have developed a series of documents giving a generic overview of how we like to work, but it is certainly not a rule book.

How we handle your enquiry

From initial contact we gather information from our potential clients and produce a budgetary cost estimation. We do this before coming on to site in most domestic cases as it affords several advantages:

• COVID-19 conscious
• Greatly reduces waiting time for clients who don’t have to wait for one of our qualified surveyors to come and visit the site
• Doesn’t require someone to be on site waiting for us to show us around (especially for home / domestic projects)
• Gives ballpark figures to confirm project viability much faster than traditional in-person surveys

What we need

Commercial and industrial enquiries will usually begin with a site inspection as the nature of projects can vary so much, there is no generic approach.

Some of the information we would ask for in domestic enquiries is:

• General description
• Desired use of basement
• Photos of the area (internally & externally if possible)
• Dimensioned plan

We can then usually send budgetary pricing within 7 working days, allowing the project to move forward with greater speed and ease.
